
First Aid for TY/Schools
Tailor made TY Frst Aid Program
Designed particularly with TY Students in mind, while also of interest to Teachers and Support Staff.
This course is for anyone with an interest in First Aid and who feel they would not be confident in the event of an emergency situation. It is based on the American Heart Foundation course aligned with the Irish oversight body, PHECC guidelines.

Designed particularly for TY students, teachers and support staff, the IFAT TY First Aid course can be further tailored to meet your pupils needs and covers life-threatening conditions anyone could be faced with in everyday life.
We provide all of the necessary support material to deliver to your school, including, mannequins, AED trainers and video learning, at a time that is convenient to you and your staff.
This course is structured to keep students engaged and entertained, while preparing them to take away key learnings that will help them to be more confident and self-sufficient in uncertain situations.
Typical courses run for a duration of 2-3 hours but can be tailored to fit to class times. Pupils who complete the course will receive a course Certificate.
TY/Mentors Sports Course
Match Day Injury and Prevention

We can also deliver a bespoke course covering sports injuries as part of a TY Sports Education module.
With over 25 years of Match Day Physio experience, including Irish Rugby League and Laois County hurling, we can provide a module, flexible for your needs, which can enhance any Sports based TY course, introducing match day expectations, pre-match strapping, recognition of injuries and treatment protocols, including RICEE and Serious Injury Strategies.
